All these people getting tattoos saying things like “this symbolises a time of change in my life where I get up and start to make things happen for myself”.
So were they waiting until they got the tattoo before they start making things happen? Surely that would waste more time, it seems to be another excuse not to start now if you ask me. It’s like when people say they’ll start next week, “well are you free now?”. I have the same beef with new year’s resolutions.
Stop waiting for this certain future time to start doing something you want, just go for it the next moment you have free. If I could give someone any advice it would be that.
I’m pretty lazy too so I know what it’s like to make excuses, just gotta start saying “now”.
